Last updated: 11 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to all roofing and building services provided by KT1 Roofing and Power Washing (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accepting a quote, placing an order, or allowing work to begin, you agree to these terms.
1. Quotations
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Quotes are based on the information available at the time.
If additional work is required due to hidden issues (e.g., rotten timbers, structural defects), we will inform you and provide a revised cost before continuing.
2. Booking & Start Dates
Start dates are given in good faith but may change due to weather, material delays, or unforeseen circumstances.
We will keep you updated and minimise any disruption.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be stated on your quote or invoice.
Deposits may be required for materials or large projects.
Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.
Late payments may incur charges in line with UK late payment legislation.
4. Materials & Products
We use high‑quality materials from trusted suppliers.
If specific products are requested, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Any changes to materials will be discussed and agreed before use.
5. Access to the Property
You must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
We are not responsible for delays caused by restricted access.
6. Health & Safety
We follow all UK health and safety regulations.
Scaffolding, barriers, or protective equipment may be required depending on the job.
Customers must not interfere with tools, equipment, or work areas.
7. Waste Removal
Waste removal is included only if stated in the quote.
Additional waste or unexpected debris may incur extra charges.
8. Guarantees
Workmanship guarantees vary depending on the service provided.
Manufacturer warranties apply to materials where available.
Guarantees do not cover damage caused by storms, neglect, third‑party work, or lack of maintenance.
9. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Deposits may be non‑refundable if materials have already been purchased.
We reserve the right to charge for work already completed.
10. Liability
We are insured for public liability and employer’s liability.
We are not responsible for pre‑existing issues, structural defects, or damage caused by conditions outside our control.
We are not liable for delays caused by weather, supplier issues, or third‑party actions.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, contact us immediately.
We will investigate and aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
